       Dear Basketball World,

I would like to thank G-thingbasketball for including me in the "Diary of a Baller" series. My name is Ayanna Jones and I am a freshman at Mainland Regional High School in Linwood, NJ. My dream is to become a player in the WNBA. To achieve my dream I workout 6 times a week on my game to become better and get good grades. Last Monday on the 23rd I had a pre-quiz in math and I got a 98 on it. That day after school I had weightlifting from 3-3:30, and from 3:30- 4:30 I shot around working on my jump shot and foul shots.

Subsequently I went to a basketball clinic at Holy Spirit High School from 6-8. On Tuesday I had a history pre-quiz and I got 45 points out of 50, possibly the highest grade in the class. Then I ran a mile in the gym, afterwards I had weightlifting from 3-3:30, and shooting from 3:30-4:00pm. There was a couple of Intermerial High School basketball games going on at the Rec Center in Plesantville, NJ that I went to watch. Wednesday I had a math quiz and I score a 100 on it, I was happy with that score, we had a freshman siminar project on Brittany Griner. I had weightlifting and shooting from 3-4pm. In workouts I did the beep test. The test is when you run up in down the court to a sound of a beep that will get faster as you go. Thursday I didn't have workouts but I did go to the basketball clinic at Holy Spirit High School from 6-8pm, then I went to a game at the Plesantville Rec Center which was over around 9:30. On Friday I had a day off, so I decided to go to the Mainland football game, they lost the game 27-20 to Absegami High School we are 1-1 so far this year, the season is still young let's go "MUSTANGS". Saturday came around and I went to my little brothers football game to cheer him on Sunday I went to a workout at Galloway Township middle school, in Galloway, NJ, from 9-12, this is what I do weekly in order to make it.
    Sincerely,
    Ayanna Jones.
