Hello Basketball World, I'm Back With Week 8 Of My Final Diary.

Monday - Today my father and I went to the gym at 6:30am. We started with shooting 140 stationary shots and  then moved on to finishing around the rim. We stayed for about 2 hours before heading to Panera. Once I got home, I took a shower and spent a couple of hours working on some SAT/ACT assignments on Khan academy. After that, I watched tv and relaxed for the rest of the night.

Tuesday - Today my father and I started the day at the gym at 6:30. Similarly to yesterday, I started with 140 stationary shots but then moved on to ball handling and different types of shots off the dribble. When I got home I ate breakfast, took a shower, and continued to work on some of my SAT/ACT assignments on Khan academy. My parents and I went to the movies later on to see The Greenbook. The movie was about a black pianist who defies the stereotypes set on African Americans during the 60s. The movie was extremely interesting and we enjoyed not only the message but it’s comic relief on a real issue. Following the movie, we went back home and watched some college basketball games on tv.

Wednesday - Today my father and I started the day at the gym at 6:30. We started off with 140 stationary shots and then moved on to mid range jumpers and layups in traffic. After we left, we went to Panera. When I got home I took a shower and continued to work on my SAT/ACT practice assignments. Later on, I watched tv and relaxed for the rest of the night.

Hello Basketball World, I'm Back With Week 7 Of My Diary.

Monday - Today was the last day before my exams, so I had a full schedule with all my subjects. In Biology, I spent most of the time editing my Cystic Fibrosis poster. In my Chemistry class, we played multiple “kahoots” that quizzed us on the material we learned throughout the trimester.  Following Chemistry, I had Calculus. We continued to look over AP review problems and different approaches or techniques on how to solve them. In my English class, we worked on our Moby Dick presentations. I was able to complete a good portion of the analytical information I needed for our exam. In History, I had already completed my final essay so I worked on more math problems in my Calc textbook. During our weekly school assembly, I also found out that I was voted for one of the five Honor Board representatives, which was really exciting. After classes, I went to the library until dinner to study Chem with some of my classmates. Following dinner, I returned back to the library to continue studying  for the rest of the night.

Tuesday - Today I woke up and went to the library to review my chemistry notes one last time before my exam at 1:00. The test lasted about 2 hours and I felt pretty good about how I did. Following the exam, I went back to the library to finish the analytical information for my English project. I spent three hours in the library before heading to dinner. Following dinner, I went back to my dorm to continue working on  my English project for the rest of the night.

Hello Basketball World, I'm Back With Week 6 Of My Diary.

Monday - Today before school, I went to the gym at 6:30. Following my workout, I took a shower and headed to Calculus. During class, we continued our preparation for the Spring trimester exam. Our test is cumulative and AP scaled, so we focused on material that we learned in the beginning of the year. After Calc, I had English. We also continued our preparation for our Spring trimester project. My presentation involves drawing connections between religious parallels in the book Moby Dick to limitations of human capabilities. Following school, I had practice from 3:30 to 5:00. We are gearing up for the first round of playoffs on Wednesday against Groton home . During practice, we specifically focused on how we were going to guard them defensively and our offensive sets. Before heading back to my dorm, I went the dining hall to eat. To finish the night, I took a shower and completed my homework.

Tuesday - On Tuesdays, I have a full schedule with all my subjects. My most favorable classes today were Biology and History. In Biology, I continued to work on my research for Cystic Fibrosis, specifically, the mutated gene associated with the disorder. In History, I began my final essay on the futility of the Compromise of 1820. Following class, I had practice from 3:30 to 5:00. During practice we focused on are different defensive sets. Before heading to my dorm, I went to the dining hall to eat. Before going to bed, I completed more research for my biology project.
