WITH THE SEASON COMING FOR GIRLS HS BASKETBALL, GTHING GIVES YOU A SNEAK PEEK AT NEW JERSEY'S TOP 10 TEAMS FOR 2015-16 SEASON.

1. St. John's Vianney

The winner of last year's South Jersey Non-Public A Championship, the Lady Lancers came up short in the TOC but learned a lot from it. St. John's will be returning every start from last year's team which is anchor by DePaul signee Kelly Campell, 6'4 Kimi Evans, GiGi Caponegro, shooting guard Kelly Crouch and 6'1 Freshman Sajada Bonner.

2. Rutgers Prep

The Prep has the whole unit back from 2014-15 season, they are lead by Super Sophomore Jahsyhi Knight, they also have a few big's that should get it done in 6'2 Gabi Redden, 5'11 Olivia Dabney, and 6'2 Niki Metzel which makes them one of the states biggest teams, plus new edition 2019 Lela Correa.

3. Gloucester Catholic

They lost to St. John's Vianney in the South Jersey Non-Public A Championship last season, they are solid at all positions,Villanova University bound Mary-Kate Gedeka brings her A game all the time. Guards Maggie McIntyre Niagara University, 2017 Naiyi Saab, and Forward 2017 5'11 Dani Sanderlin how is very athletic with a bunch of post moves. New edition Tanisha Lewis-El who is a bonafide scorer.

4. Paterson Eastside

This school always seems to fine talent in the hardest places, a huge front court in 6'5 Blessing Ejiofor who just sign with Vanderbilt, new Paraguay native 2018 6'9 Andrea Aquino who should contribute heavy on the boards and the box score. Plus 6'0 Sr. Precious Featherson is also back, they have some young guards that should help out.

5. Manasquan

The TOC winners of 2014-15 season can never be counted out, they are really well coached and they always fine a way to win. They lost some offense from last year team in McDonald's All American Marina Mabrey and Courtney Hagaman and 2017 post Victoria Galvan to a torn ACL, but they get back some crafty guards in Stella Clark, Dara Mabrey and Addie Masonius who should definitely put up some amazing numbers, they should also get a spark from 2019 6'0 Faith Masonius who has showed some flashes of being big time in the Shore Conference.

6.St. Rose

Has add a few new piece to their roster this year, with big loses from Kat Phipps and Jess Louro coach Whelan know he had to work hard in try to fill those voids. St. Rose should challenge Rutgers Prep for the title, returning is Jenn Louro, Mikayla Markham and So. transfer 5'11 Luciana Thomas who is a great rebounder and good finisher around the rim, also is 2019 5'9 Lauren Lithgow who can play the 1 or 2 good ball handler, great shooting range.

7. Gill St. Bernard

Should contend with new head coach Aaron Gratch back at the helm, they have great point guard play from Sr. Sam Kramer and 2019 Nisani Santiago who can go with the best of them. They are anchor in the middle by 2017 6'3 Alexis Allesh and power forward Lauren McBride who is a good rebounder and can score around the block, Gill should move up early in the ranking despite the lost of Sr. Kennedy Whitehead.

8. Rumson - Fair Haven

This team should be higher, but this depends on what Rumson - Fair Haven team shows up this season. They have a good shooter in Stephanie Lesko, they also have a few other bright spots in Tori Hyduke, Sydney Sabino, Nicole Morris and new transfer guard Christina Antonakakis.

9. Camden Catholic

Should do well in South Jersey, with 2018 6'4 Brittany Garner leading the charge. Garner has the ability to be a walking Double Double, guards Taiah Thornton, Julia Braungrat and Sierra Taylor should be in the double digit score box every game.

10. Notre Dame

A well balance team, specially at the 4 & 5. They have a few guards that should help them get by in get the ball to there big's, 2016 6'1 Nneka Ezeigbo and 5'11 Samantha Widmann. Kaiya Burnett, Eve Crawford and Maryam Crawford are the guards.
